The manager and owner, Tewodros Gashaw Assefa, was born in
1961 in Addis Ababa where he completed his elementary and
secondary education Mr Gashaw Assefa graduated with a
Diploma in Agronomy from Alemaya University in 1983 and was
engaged for three years in the Ministry of Agriculture as a
Junior Expert of Agronomy in Gondar Region. In 1990 he
earned a scholarship to the former Soviet Union for further
study in the field of biochemistry. He then travelled to
Germany where he lived and was employed from 1992 until 1995
returning to his home country of Ethiopia as a private
entrepreneur. After a year and a half of intensive study in
tourism at the Lancom Institute, in October, 1999 Mr Gashaw
Assefa created Nature Lovers Tour Operator, his very popular
and successful tour company. In addition to his English,
German and Russian language facilities and his remarkable
interpersonal and leadership qualities, Mr Gashaw Assefa
believes understanding and sharing of European life and
culture are the keys for his success.
