ኮርፖሬሽኑ የሞባይል ደንበኞች የሞባይል ኢንተርኔት GPRS አገልግሎትን በነጻ ማስጀመር እንዲችሉ አደረገ፡፡ የኢትዮጵያ ቴሌኮሙኒኬሽን ኮርፖሬሽን የሞባይል ኔትወርክን በመጠቀም የድምፅ፣ የተንቀሳቃሽ ምስል እና የፅሁፍ መልዕክቶችን ለመቀበልና ለማስተላለፍ የሚያስችለው የሞባይል ኢንተርኔት ወይም የGPRS አገልግሎት ለመስጠት የሚያስችል የኔትወርክ ማስፋፋት ሥራ ተጠናቆ በአሁኑ ወቅት 2.146 ሚሊዮን ደንበኞችን ማስተናገድ የሚያስችል አቅም ተፈጥሯል፡፡ በመሆኑም ሁሉም የድህረ እና የቅድመ ክፍያ የሞባይል ተጠቃሚዎች አገልግሎቱን በነጻ ማስጀመር ወይም activate ማድረግ እንዲችሉ ተደርጓል፡፡ July 12, 2010
